Right of Way Preparation (2006):

This work will be performed outside the existing pavement in the newly acquired public right-of-way. This work is necessary so the utility companies are able to relocate their existing facilities outside the proposed roadway improvement area.

Utility Relocation (2006 - 2007):

ComEd, Nicor, AT&T and Comcast all need to relocate their existing facilities outside the proposed roadway improvement area. This work will begin in early 2007 and is schedule to be completed in the summer of 2007.

Roadway Reconstruction - Phase I (2007):

This work is between Annandale Drive and Randall Road. The pavement will be temporarily widened so that at least two lanes of traffic can continue to drive while the construction is in progress. Roadway Reconstruction - Phase II (2008):

This work is between IL Rte. 47 and Annandale Drive. Like in Phase I, the pavement will be temporarily widened so that at least two lanes of traffic can continue to drive while the construction is in progress.
